As a Sioux Falls native, I was familiar with Sands’ remarkable reputation in both the industry and the community. I am proud to have recently joined Sands Wall Systems as Controller and am thrilled to be part of such a great team. I have an MBA with an emphasis in accounting and 7 years of construction finance experience. I am married with two sons and a golden retriever. In my free time I enjoy coaching my boys’ hockey, golfing, going to the lake, and spending time with friends and family.

I have spent the last 12 years of my career in education and the past 7 years as a principal. I was in the business of people. I was thrilled to join the Sands Wall Systems team as they share my passion for serving people and the community. My new role as the Director of Human Resources, Recruitment, and Safety will allow me to continue to develop people and cultivate leadership within an organization that has a proven winning culture and an eye for innovation. The people are what makes Sands Wall Systems successful, and I look forward to working alongside them.

I moved to Sioux Falls, SD from Kearney, NE in 2019 and spent the past 5 years working as a Logistics and Inventory Manager. Jholayne (usually known as Jay) grew up in Hartford, SD, and lives in Sioux Falls. She obtained a degree in Architectural Engineering Technology from Southeast Technical College and joined the team shortly after graduation. When she’s not bouncing between the office, shop and various jobsites, Jay enjoys reading, gaming, and running around with her fluffy dog, Eris, on her grandparents’ farm.

Native to Sioux Falls, Alyssa went to school in Brandon and then moved on to Southeast Tech for a degree in Architectural Engineering Technology, while she finished up school she started here at Sands. "Jake" hails all the way from the distant land of Sioux Falls, SD. He's attended the University of Nebraska Lincoln and South Dakota State University, and now has 28 years of construction experience. He is happily married and the loving father to both a son and a daughter. Jake enjoys playing pool and golf, watching University of North Carolina basketball and University of Nebraska football, as well as spending time with his family.

With more than 30 years of construction experience, Dan joins our Rapid City branch all the way from Flint, MI. When he's not working hard as the Branch Manager, you can find Dan outdoors, either camping, fishing, or golfing.

Originally from Westbrook, MN, Brian has been with Sands Wall Systems since 2005. Brian started out as a framer and became a framing foreman in 2010. In 2021, he took his current role as Framing/EIFS superintendent. Him and his wife, Jen, and have a 3-year-old daughter named Kennedy. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, fishing, and spending time with his family.
